I recently made a purchase from River City Sports, calling the 800 number hoping to expedite the process. I was looking for a very important item for a wedding gift, and came up with the idea a little late. I called anyway to see if it was possible to get the customized jersey on time. I spoke with a very helpful and friendly girl who answered the phone, she assured me that they could get it done and delivered on time. I took the risk and completed the transaction. It was June 12, and I had given the young lady a date of July 12 , no later. The item arrived, as ordered on June 25!! I was looking at the invoice and noted the young lady had put on the order "must be there by July 8th, rush big". I really don't want to give up her secret system for expediting these orders, but I really feel the need to commend her for her intuition.
I wish I could remember the young lady's name, but I don't. If you know who she is, please give her my regards.
This was not my first purchase from River City, and most certainly won't be the last. All of the transactions have been outstanding.
